FFI – One of the biggest challenges associations face today is capturing members’ attention and maintaining the unity and cohesion that are so important. Since the Icelandic Flight Attendants Association (FFÍ) introduced the FFI app nearly two years ago (2019), member engagement has increased significantly. FFÍ has developed a clear strategy around the app, which has now become the center of all communication with members, who have welcomed this technological solution.

FÍA – The 2Way app has been extremely successful at FIA; the uptake among members is around 85% and most of the pilots use it many/several times a week. It has made the younger pilots more aware of the union and what is happening there, and valuable input is received from pilots every month for the Company Council to utilize. It is also a valuable tool to gather statistics on reported issues.
