Add New Event

The backend system enables you to create a new event, for a meeting, seminar, or a workshop. You can setup events and define event participation settings as required.

Click on Events link available in the left sidebar. The sub-links appear as below.

Click on Add New Event link. The Event Information page appears where you can add the details of new event.

Add the following details for new event.

Subject: Write the title or subject of new event.

Date and Time: Select the date and time for this event.

Location: Write down the location of the event.

Airline Code: Select the airline code for this event. Note that when you select an airline code, the event is automatically saved if you have added the mandatory information for this event.

Image: Select an image as part of this new image. Browse the image and upload it. (Please see Insert Images section in Common Tasks for more details on adding images.)

Description: Write the description of event for its purpose, and for any instructions. You can use a text editor to format the description such as for a numbered list, or to make some visual settings in the description text.

Allow User Participation Opt-In: Select Yes, if users can opt-in to participate in the event.

Event Notification Settings

Set the event notification settings. In Send Notification, select Yes, to enable event notification settings for the event’s target users.

In Notification Type, select an option whether you want to plan a sound for this event notification.

In Message, write down the message for this notification. Note the word count limit for this message.

Schedule Notification

Select Send later checkbox to schedule this notification. Select the date and time for this notification schedule.

Click on Save button to save the event.

Click on Reset button to discard the event details.
